About TheOpenPrep

TheOpenPrep is my personal study portal. I am Ankush, a self-taught builder in India. I write these notes to learn things properly, and I publish them because other people studying the same material may find them useful.

What is here

• Start Here and the Python course are written as courses, with exercises. The Python code was run on Python 3.12 and 3.14.
• Systems Engineering is my long set of notes on databases and distributed systems. These are study notes, not official documentation. Where a page has no sources, check it before relying on it.
• Autonomous Ventures and Production Labs are project notes and ideas.

How it is made

The pages are plain Markdown files built into a static site with MkDocs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The code editors on the Python lessons run Python inside your browser; your code is not sent to a server.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, it is mine. I would like to fix it. Pages that carry facts list their sources at the bottom, so you can check them yourself.
