Capstones

These three projects combine the parts of this course. Each one lists requirements with checks you can run, milestones with hints, and a reference solution in a collapsed block. Try the milestones before you open the solution.

1. Command-line expense tracker: Read commands in a loop, save expenses to a JSON file, and total them. ~3 hours
2. Text adventure with classes: Model rooms, items, and a locked door as classes, and run a command loop. ~4 hours
3. REST notes API: Serve validated notes over HTTP with FastAPI and test the routes with TestClient. ~4 hours
